I am pretty much an illiterate as far as eBay is concerned, so everything is a learning experience for me and that is how I am approaching the whole thing. When I was asked to find some items around the house to put up for sale on eBay I started to go through a check list in my mind. Firstly they had to be decent enough for someone to want to by, Secondly they had to be small enough so the postage wouldn’t be too high and thirdly they had to be items my husband wouldn’t miss. I found some good books, decorative plates, figurines, a DVD and some Omega 3 oils that I wouldn’t be able to use before the used by date. To my surprise the Omega 3 oils sold almost straight away. I didn’t make a profit but it was a thrill to sell something for the first time and at this early stage education is far more valuable than making a few bucks that will come. Also it is really about getting my feedback ratings up there. I am finding the whole experience challenging but exciting.
